Article 1. Who we are

These terms apply to every purchase made through ployspeaks.com and any checkout page we operate.

Courseborn, trading as Ployspeaks, is registered in the Netherlands.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Courseborn. "You" means the person making the purchase.

Article 2. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer, order and agreement between us and you. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

We may update these terms. The version published at the moment of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.

Article 3. The product

We sell digital products. At the moment of writing this is a downloadable guide called Feel at Home in Thailand, and any additional digital material offered alongside it.

The product is delivered digitally. Nothing is shipped physically.

The product is an educational guide. It teaches everyday spoken Thai for travellers. It is not a certified language course and it does not lead to a qualification.

Article 4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown on the sales page and at checkout, in the currency displayed there.

Whether VAT applies and at what rate depends on your country of residence. The amount that applies to you is shown at checkout before you pay.

Payment is processed through Plug&Pay and Mollie. We do not store your card details.

Article 5. Delivery

After successful payment you receive immediate access to your download, by email and on the confirmation page.

If you have not received your access within one hour, contact us at info@courseborn.com and we will resolve it.

You are responsible for entering a correct email address. If the address is wrong, contact us and we will resend to the correct one.

Article 6. Right of withdrawal for digital products

Under European consumer law you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase.

For digital content that is delivered immediately, this right ends as soon as delivery begins, provided you have expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal.

You give this consent at checkout. This means that once your download is made available, the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies.

Article 7. Our own satisfaction promise

Separately from the statutory right described above, we offer our own voluntary promise.

If the guide is not for you, email us at info@courseborn.com within fourteen days of purchase and we refund you in full. No questions asked.

This is a goodwill arrangement offered by us. It is not a statutory right and it does not affect the article above.

Article 8. Use and intellectual property

The guide is for your own personal use.

You may keep it, print it for yourself, and use it on your own devices.

You may not share, copy, resell, publish, distribute or make it publicly available, in whole or in part, without our written permission. All rights remain with Courseborn.

Article 9. Accuracy and liability

The content is written and checked with care, and the Thai is verified by native speakers.

Spoken language varies by region, by situation and by speaker. Pronunciation guidance is written to help you be understood, not to represent a formal phonetic system.

We are not liable for the way the information is used or for any consequences of using it, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Article 10. Availability

We do our best to keep the website and download available at all times.

We are not liable for temporary unavailability caused by maintenance, hosting issues or circumstances beyond our control. If a technical problem prevents you from accessing a product you paid for, contact us and we will make sure you receive it.

Article 11. Complaints

If you are not happy with the product or with how we handled something, email info@courseborn.com with a clear description.

We answer complaints within fourteen days. If a complaint needs more time, we will tell you that within those fourteen days and let you know when to expect an answer.

If we cannot resolve it together, consumers in the European Union can also use the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 12. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to every agreement between us and you.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.

Article 13. Severability

If any provision of these terms turns out to be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay fully in force. In that case we will replace the provision with one that stays as close as possible to its original purpose.
